Janks Tailoring – Returns & Refunds Policy (Made‑to‑Measure & Online Orders)

At Janks Tailoring, every garment is crafted with precision and care. Because our pieces are made to your specific measurements and requirements, our return policy is tailored to reflect the nature of bespoke menswear.

Return Eligibility for Made‑to‑Measure Orders

Since made‑to‑measure and custom garments are created uniquely for you, they are not eligible for standard returns. However, if there is an issue with craftsmanship, fit (based on the measurements you provided), or if the item arrives damaged or incorrect, we will work with you to put it right.

For non-custom accessories or ready‑to‑wear items, you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Returned items must be in their original condition—unworn, unused, with tags attached, and in original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.

How to Start a Return or Alteration Request

Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

If your return or alteration request is approved, we will provide a return shipping label and clear instructions on how to send your item back to us.

Damages, Defects & Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your garment is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, contact us immediately at jankstailoring@gmail.com so we can assess the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exceptions / Non‑Returnable Items

Because of their personalised nature, the following items cannot be returned:

• Made‑to‑measure garments
• Custom or personalised items
• Sale items
• Gift cards

We also cannot accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, reach out and we’ll be happy to advise.

Exchanges

For non-custom items, the quickest way to exchange is to return the item once approved and place a new order for the replacement.

European Union 14‑Day Cooling‑Off Period

If your order is being shipped to the EU, you have the right to cancel or return non-custom items within 14 days for any reason. Items must be unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging, and you must provide proof of purchase.

Please note: Made‑to‑measure and personalised garments are exempt from this cooling‑off period.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
